The only place I could find to take a picture of this quilt was off my deck. Since it is evening, the sun is quite low in the sky and is responsible for casting a shadow from the tree over the top left hand corner of the quilt.
This piece now measures 88" x 99". The pattern does not call for a border, but I think I will end up adding a border anyway.
It's gorgeous. I always seem to add a border to quilts too. I think it frames them nicely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to make the All About Me quilt. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you got to work on this quilt! What a nice break from the customer obligations. Turned out wonderfully too. Did it make much a dent in the Halloween fabric though?
ReplyDeleteA framing border might be nice for this---me, you know my eversion for borders, LOL but that's donation quilts usually and I am ready to move on.
Very nice quilt for your Halloween fabrics and I think a framing border would look nice too but...I also don't like to do borders :)
