I finished the t-shirt quilt. I was commissioned to make this quilt by a customer who wanted a memory quilt centered around her love of running marathons. I have grown fond of it and hate to let it go. I am now going to have to make a quilt for myself out of the collection of old t-shirts that I saved! This block seemed particularly appropriate for today. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers out there reading this blog!
You did a great job quilting this - I know alot of quilters complain about quilting over the t-shirt design itself - you came up with a good idea!
ReplyDeleteI thought I might like to make a t-shirt quilt, but only have 2 of them! I might have 1-2 more packed away, but that still makes only 4 shirts.
Yours is really nice!
Cheers!

I also like the quilting on this t-shirt quilt...it came out great.
ReplyDeleteI like this quilt and the circles you did in the middle of each block are just perfect!!! The owner will love it!
ReplyDeleteCool quilting on a special quilt :-) You are good !
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Norma and it looks great! Love the pics from the quilt shows too.
ReplyDeleteI love the spirals on this - what did you use to quilt them? I like T-shirt quilts as memory quilts and will eventually make myself one with T-shirts I buy on my travels.
ReplyDeletethe circles/spirals(?) really pop the T-shirst- lovely!
ReplyDeleteT-Shirt quilt looks great. Love the spirals in the center. Did you use the Circle Lord template to do those?
