Langley Quilt Show - Part III

This was another quilt pattern that could do some serious damage to your scrap pile!
I liked the use of the Stack-N-Whack quilt pattern combined with an Irish Chain design on this quilt.

One last quilt that captured the theme of the show, Quilting between Friends. This one made me smile with the use of the preserving jars.

  1. Love the geese quilt. I've seen that pattern in lots of different fabrics and it always looks good. My sister gave me a bunch of hand dyed fabrics that would look good in this pattern. Thanks for posting - I wouldn't have thought to use them in this project.

  2. I love photos of stash buster quilts! I have started to buy just yardage of background fabrics and a few fat quarters when I go shopping! I used to never have backgrounds so never could just start a quilt. Maybe I will finally get to use my Flying Geese ruler if I make this one - thanks for sharing the photo!

    Cheers!
