I finished my BQ quilt. This top is not yet quilted and I have pinned it to the quilt hanging in my entrance so the picture shows the edge of my sunflower quilt peeking out around the edges.
This top finished at 48 1/2" square. This pattern goes together quickly and is very fun to do. When I cut the pieces out for this top, I cut an equal number of pieces to finish a second top. One of the quilts will go to my mother and the second one will stay at my house.
What great pumpkin fabric! This is a super addition to your fall decor!
ReplyDeleteNice quilt, Norma. The pumpkin fabric is great.
ReplyDeletethis is a great pattern Norma! Laughed when you siad the sunflower quilt was peeking as I'd tried to figure out why there was binding only on two sides, and one side it was uneven...
ReplyDeleteI really do like this pattern. I keep seeing it around blogland and it's inching closer up to the top of my "gotta do now" list.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a simple looking pattern but I like it. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Love the pumpkin fabric.
ReplyDeleteI have to do one too, Norma and soon--definitely a good one for the boys with a chosen focus fabric. Sounds like you made a good choice making one for you and your mom since she spotted the quilt at the show.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable fall quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cool quilt. What a great idea to make one for you and one for your mum.
ReplyDeleteNice quilt
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you would cut out 2! Amazing. I suppose I just have to change my mindset. I like to make everything too complicated
