Halloween Table Runner - Complete

The Halloween table runner is complete. And for those who never guessed it from the previous post, it has a new owner--my mother!

We couldn't quite decide where we should be taking the pictures so we took them in a couple of different places in my parent's house. Here is my mother in her kitchen with the table runner on the island.

Oh, and it is reversible..........

.............Fall leaves on the back for display in the fall months leading up to Halloween.

  1. Norma, I love the table runner, and it's so nice to be able to see your Mother enjoying it! I also loved the story about your Grandfather. Just lovely that you have such a rich family history that is documented for future generations. Thank you so much for sharing.

  2. It looks terrific and the lady holding it does too, LOL. The fabric is wonderful so she can use either side of it. Are you going to make another for yourself but possibly with slightly smaller squares?

  4. Ohh, I like the fabric on the back too! Not sure what the pine cones are doing in all the broadleaf leaves, but it's very fallish, even if not realistic! In fact, I may look for it myself... lol Do you still have the selvedge so you could tell me who it's by?

  5. Very nice! I love the black surrounding each block - it makes those gorgeous brights stand out even more. What a perfect backing you chose.

  6. Had to do a spruce up on my site and I love the new look. It's definitely still me but just a refreshed version.

BTW, I love the reversible table runner. I need to get to work on making something for Halloween/Fall.

And how wonderful that your mom is the lucky owner...she sure does look proud, and it is very striking on her cutting block.
