The Snowman Collector

With all the snow outside, this quilt seemed appropriate to post. The quilt belongs to a customer and is called, "Snowman Collector".

I quilted this quilt with Bottom Line thread and I used Circle Lord's wave template. The combination of a fine thread and this template add just enough texture without overpowering the applique on this quilt.

I also collect snowmen and may have to make one of these for myself.

  3. That is one charming quilt! I wouldn't mind having one for myself, either. You've done that quilting wave on a few now, and I really like it-I'dlike to try something like that on a few of my quilts.

  7. Oh how cute! And what gorgeous quilting you've done to complement the perfect looking stitches your customer has done. Do you know if they did the blanket stitch by hand or machine?

  18. Lovely quilt. I have done all the blocks but have not joined them yet. I must do that in 2007 ! I will not add the outer border though, as I want it as a winter quilt on my couch.
